I have been veterinary nursing since I was 18. Toachim House is only my second practice I have worked for. I have been head nurse here since 2008.
I have two retired horses, a boxer dog: Tango (my pride and joy) and my ginger cat: Solomon. I enjoy being involved in charity work and have raised money for several good causes; including Guide Dogs for the Blind and Sarah’s Neutering Charity.
I am a ‘Pets as therapy ‘assessor, which means people can bring their dogs to me to be assessed to see if they qualify to visit people in nursing homes, hospitals and hospices. I also recently trained as a trainee veterinary nurse assessor, to help them become qualified nurses.
My delights outside of work are Zumba, Pilates and socialising.
