I qualified as a Veterinary nurse in November 2015 from Canterbury College and I joined Toachim House towards the end of December 2015, just before Christmas. I’ve been made to feel very welcome and accepted as part of the team, and I am excited to meet all of your lovely, furry babies and to continue working with such an experienced and supportive group.
I have always had a passion for animals and sometimes wish I had started my training sooner, however better late than never!
I worked at Farming World for a couple of years in 2010 where I also carried out an apprenticeship in animal care and welfare. It is here that I also acquired my pet sheep, Castiel, who I hand-reared from 2 weeks of age. He now lives in our garden and has become my mums shadow!
I also have 2 rabbits, Midnight and Baileys, and a very handsome, cheeky ginger cat called Loki, who was found in a box on the doorstep of my second placement on my first day. It must have been fate.
Outside of work I enjoy keeping fit, watching horror movies, gaming, spending time with my lovely boyfriend and seeing family and friends. I love all things Disney and have a “mild” Yankee candle obsession.
