We aim to provide a caring, quality, professional premier service to our clients and their much-loved companions. All of us here are pet owners, so we fully understand how you feel. Cuddles help-we find that these are an excellent way to keep our patients feeling better when they are away from their home environment.
Most pets that we see are brought by their owners to us on a ‘first opinion’ basis, but many more complex cases are referred by other practices to us because of our very special facilities and advanced skills.
Despite our special facilities and advanced, premier skills, our prices are lower than the UK average according to surveys carried out by Tesco and Which? Our flea/worming products are cheaper than supermarket prices, and our prices for long-term treatments for conditions such as arthritis and diabetes are very low considering the premium level of service offered.
The practice was originally founded in 1999, and taken over by Andrew Wills (a vet working in Kent since 1985) in 2002 when there was just myself and 2 nurses – Stacey Van Gent and Samantha Ellis. Now, thanks to the support of our lovely clientele, we have grown to the point where we have 4 full-time and 2 part-time vets, 12 qualified veterinary nurses, a student, an Animal care assistant, 4 dedicated Receptionists and two cleaners. Stacey and Sam are still here – Stacey is our practice manager.
In January 2010 we moved to a brand new, purpose-built site in the new Eurocentre Business Park off the Whitstable Road in Faversham. This has allowed us to expand our services but continue the premier service that has always been so important to us all.
There are 13 parking spaces for the exclusive use of our clients, with easy access from the town centre, A2, M2 and A299 (Thanet Way). Please note that we no longer have a surgery at the old South Road address.
RCVS Practice Standards Scheme
The RCVS Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) is a voluntary initiative to accredit veterinary practices in the UK. Through setting standards and carrying out regular inspections, the Scheme aims to promote and maintain the highest standards of veterinary care. We are inspected by the RCVS who described us as ”wonderful”.
