Our Mission
We aim to provide a caring, quality professional service to our clients and their much-loved companions. All the vets and nurses here are pet owners, so we fully understand how you feel.
Most pets that we see are brought by their owners to us on a ‘first opinion’ basis, but many more complex cases are referred by other practices to us because of our very special facilities and advanced skills.
Fair Prices
Despite our special facilities and advanced skills, our prices are lower than the UK average according to surveys carried out by Tesco and Which? Our flea/worming products are cheaper than supermarket prices, and our prices for long-term treatments for conditions such as arthritis and diabetes are very low considering the premium level of service offered.
The Practice
The practice was originally founded in 1999, and taken over by Andrew Wills (a vet working in Kent since 1985) in 2002 when there was just myself and 2 nurses – Stacey Van Gent and Samantha Ellis. Now, thanks to the support of our lovely clientele, we have grown to the point where we have 4 full-time and 2 part-time vets, 11 qualified veterinary nurses and 2 students, and a dedicated receptionist. Stacey and Sam are still here – Stacey is our practice manager and Sam is currently on maternity leave.
In January 2010 we moved to a brand new, purpose-built site in the new Eurocentre Business Park off the Whitstable Road in Faversham.
There are 13 parking spaces for the exclusive use of our clients, with easy access from the town centre, A2, M2 and A299 (Thanet Way). Please note that we no longer have a surgery at the old South Road address.
RCVS Practice Standards Scheme
The RCVS Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) is a voluntary initiative to accredit veterinary practices in the UK. Through setting standards and carrying out regular inspections, the Scheme aims to promote and maintain the highest standards of veterinary care.
